Who Are We Looking For...
The Senior Director, People + Culture will be directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the People function here at Perfect Snacks. We are looking for an experienced People Leader to build, improve and elevate our culture, talent, and teams to the next levels.
Job Description
- Partner with Leadership Team to provide strategic HR support in organizational design, employee relations, talent acquisition and Talent management across levels, compensation and benefits, training, communication, and compliance.
- Foster an inclusive environment, with strong focus on DEI efforts
- Plan, build, and implement short- and long-term strategies that address organization issues and evaluate the organization’s developmental needs.
- Own and further develop a positive, creative, and ethical environment and continue to drive our mission and value.
- Champion the effectiveness and development of executive leadership team; address succession through development programs, preparing ‘ready now’ candidates as well as a potential pipeline for the future.
- Pre-empt future HR concerns through use of data and analytics, workforce planning, leveraging insights to proactively seek and implement solutions that impact the bottom line and enable business strategy.
- Partner with leaders to attract high-caliber talent and onboarding into the business. Oversee all recruitment and on-boarding efforts.
- Partner on implementation of people plans, function transformation agendas, accelerating core capability development in line with strategic plans, while enabling a growth culture that translates into employee engagement.
- Oversee improvements of the organization's policies, procedures, and practices on employee matters and ensure policies are updated in employee handbook.
- Oversee knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure organization's compliance. Plan and lead on all legal and tax implications. Ensure organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all employee matters.
- Oversee performance cycle including annual compensation and market ranges; review annual salary surveys and develop salary budget; monitor the performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
- Oversee PEO relationship and audit PEO generated reports to ensure accuracy. Update and approve EEO-1 filing annually. Ensure PEO is maintaining other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Oversee all employee relations issues, creating corrective actions, performance plans when necessary. Coach hiring managers in administrating corrective actions, participate in conversations when needed.
- Oversee all employee benefits and wellness program, ensure market competitiveness and revise as necessary.
Qualifications
- Education Level: bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- Related Work Experience: 10+ years
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR required
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and leadership in HR. Ability to understand key business drivers that contribute to operational and financial success. Can partner and influence on strategic priorities, with an active curiosity, insight orientation and external perspective about people and business performance
- Ability to build HR operating plans, people/capability roadmaps to enable people and business growth
- Broad generalist HR skills across a range of populations with increasing responsibility ideally within FMCG/CPG
- Ability to develop strong partnerships and coach senior function leaders
- Ability to create and lead strategy and transformation
- Ability to engage, inspire and influence employees and stakeholders across organization
- Future focused, thinking ahead and anticipating opportunities, leverage an outside in perspective through understanding of market trends
- Follows through on commitments, showing persistence in the face of challenging circumstances, and responds effectively to roadblocks.
