Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vendor Relationship Manager to join our team to support of the restaurant technology and innovations deployed in over 13,000 US McDonald’s restaurants. In this entry-level role, you will support the management of vendor relationships, ensuring that our suppliers deliver high-quality products and services that meet our business needs. You will assist in maintaining effective communication, monitoring vendor performance, and supporting the overall vendor management strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Communication: Maintain regular communication with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Address any issues or concerns promptly and escalate as necessary.
- Performance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring vendor performance against established KPIs. Collect and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vendor interactions, agreements, and performance evaluations. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Evaluate e-Waste recycling opportunities to improve restaurant technology sustainability practices
- Manage the ongoing project evolution of McDonald’s Hardware for Hope program to provide support and benefits to our owner operators
Issue Resolution:
- Support the resolution of vendor-related issues, working closely with internal teams and vendors to find effective solutions.
Cost Management:
- Assist in tracking and managing hardware and services cost integrity to owner/operators associated with vendor services.
- Ensure pricing transparency and adherence to agreed-upon terms.
Feedback Collection:
- Gather feedback from internal stakeholders on vendor performance and service quality. Communicate feedback to vendors and support continuous improvement efforts.
Compliance:
- Ensure vendors comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

The expected salary range for this role is $87,050 – $108,810 per year

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in vendor management, supply chain, or a related role.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Curious, task-oriented, and a self-starter, with a proven track record of “getting things done.”
- Hardworking facilitator who leads strategy creation and planning discussions.
- Basic understanding of supply chain and vendor management principles.
