Seasonal Kettle Assistant

You may know The Salvation Army for our red kettles, our angel trees, and our strong presence during the Christmas season, but we support local families every season. The donations we collect during the Christmas season not only help us provide gifts to children who would otherwise go without but also help us provide food, shelter, and utility assistance to those who need it most. The Seasonal Kettle Assistant will schedule volunteers for bell ringing. 

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Respond to the phones for Christmas Bell ringing schedule
• Answer questions/inquiries asked by volunteers
• Data entry
• Perform general clerical duties

Relationships:

• Maintain good working relationships with bell ringers, volunteers, and participating businesses

Education & Experience:

• Computer experience
• Ability to answer phones in a professional manner
