Job Description:

Job Title: Part-Time Cook (20 Hours/Week)
Location: Westminster Towers, Kenner, Louisiana

Essential Functions:

• Prepare meals using standardized recipes and portion controls.

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure food safety.

• Supervise dietary aides in the absence of management.

• Record meal temperatures and maintain daily census records.

• Assist in training new dietary staff.

• Ensure timely meal preparation and accuracy of special diets.

Expectations:

• Maintain a professional and positive attitude.

• Adhere to all organizational policies and compliance standards.

• Provide respectful and dignified care for residents.

• Complete required training and education annually.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience: 1-2 years as a dietary aide or cook preferred.

• Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

• Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to kitchen conditions
