Founded in 2008, Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).

What You’ll Do
• Coordinates the implementation of the service and operational functions necessary to ensure proper servicing of clients and the timely/accurate execution of investments.
• Acts as a liaison between the advisors, their clients & internal departments to provide day-to-day support in responding to advisor and client inquiries and ensuring timely and accurate completion of operational/product activities.
• Coordinates the new client process including participating in meeting preparation, collection of client background information, providing and obtaining required account and investment strategy documentation, and operational coordination of account establishment and transfers.
• Coordinates the asset allocation & reallocation process including, addressing necessary paperwork, account establishment, and investment implementation and/or changes with applicable department(s).
• Provides customer service to clients by providing information, responding to inquiries, conducting research, and submitting and ensuring the completion of service requests.
• Maintains proficiency in all investment strategies, services, policies, and procedures to effectively respond to inquiries and complete service requests. Solve problems through a strong understanding of operational and firm processes.
• Performs other necessary duties and participates in Firm projects assigned.
What You’ll Bring
• 5 + years’ experience in a similar role with an investment management firm and/or broker dealer.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the financial services industry.
• Self-starter who takes initiative to identify and complete tasks. Can handle multiple assignments and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to solve problems, anticipate needs and provide superior service.
• High energy with ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workflow
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
• Ability to acquire a working knowledge of the portfolio of accounts
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Superior interpersonal, organizational and client service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
• Strong technical skills using the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• BA/BS degree in finance or related field preferred
