Swing Shift (United States of America)Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Holding – Prep and Recovery Unit.Shift: RN can work either 4 ten hour shifts or 5 eight hours shifts. Shift starts at either 11am or Noon depending on whether you are working 10- or 8-hour days.
Team is flexible with hours depending on case load. No weekends, holidays, or required call for this position. Sign on bonus available for qualified candidate and relocation assistance can be provided

Position Overview: Cardiac Cath Holding is a cardiac assessment, recover, and evaluation unit. The Registered Nurse will prep and recover patients that are having cardiac catheterizations (interventional and diagnostic), electrophysiology procedures such as cardiac ablations, cardioversions, ICDs/pacemakers, Afib, impellas, IABP, loop recorder implants, and Vascular and IR cases. RN will perform TEE and Cardioversions at bedside.The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Sentara Healthcare by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system. The Registered nurse collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care. This unit has staff satisfaction rate of 98% for 2020 MOT scores. We are a highly engaged team that is looking for the right individual to help with the growth of our program as we have opened our third Cath Lab.

Job Summary
