A Day in the Life:
This is an outstanding career opportunity for an HR professional who is experienced and passionate about partnering with the function to deliver our people and culture strategy. The HR Business Partner will execute HR generalist activities across various Corporate Function teams at LyondellBasell. This role will partner with different levels of leadership supporting our people and culture strategy and supporting annual HR processes. This includes but is not limited to, talent, performance management, engagement, employee relations, reward, and general HR policies and procedures. This role will work with HR leaders and collaborates with colleagues globally.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Trusted advisor to business leaders, consulting on workforce planning, organizational design, change management, employee engagement and talent development and acquisition.
- Supports business clients on annual HR processes (e.g. reward planning, performance management), coordinating with regional or country HR colleagues.
- Coordinates engagement activity.
- Advises people leaders aligned with HR policy and procedures.
- Works closely with employees and managers with regards to employee development and career growth, providing guidance and coaching.
- Supports in the design and implementation of organizational structure change including identifying impact and assisting in the communication as needed.
- Participates in project teams in client organization, providing HR guidance.
- Participates in HR teams on HR projects as requested.
You Bring This Value :
Min. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field required.
- Requires 5+ HR generalist/advisor experience in an independent role with a track record of delivery.
- Comfort working and communicating with employees at all levels in geographically-dispersed business operations including senior leaders and executives.
- Must have solid HR fundamentals and broad-based experience in HR, including understanding EEO laws, conflict resolution, and meeting facilitation.
- Proficiency working independently in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- The ability to work with all levels of employees from front line employees to senior management.
- Excellent team building skills, self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Strong communication skills to include verbal, written, and interpersonal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred.
- Global HR experience.
- HR experience supporting corporate functions.
- Experience in the chemical industry.
- Working knowledge of SuccessFactors.
