Job Summary
The Impact & Inclusion (I&I) team is seeking a Lead Analyst, Community Impact Analytics. This role will support I&I by leading the effort to identify how Comcast is impacting the community, driving insights to highlight areas we are leading and where there are opportunities to grow our presence, as well as administering the official corporate reporting on charitable giving and employee engagement data. This role will work with a cross-functional team that encompasses representation from all teams within I&I. The (Lead Analyst) will enable research-informed decision-making through supporting the assessment of Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation’s charitable giving and crafting a research approach that delivers on actionable insights. The candidate will serve as a strategic business partner and align on approach to ensure that key business questions are addressed.The role reports to the Senior Director, Data Reporting and Insights.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Work with program leads, field partners, and various stakeholders across Impact & Inclusion teams to understand key business questions and insight needs
- Lead the design, development, and execution of the Community Impact reporting portfolio
- Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards on the Tableau server
- Support ad hoc reporting in relation to the company’s Community Impact program initiatives
- Stay current on industry trends and seek new ways to utilize research to support company initiatives
- Plan and implement research to provide actionable insights and key takeaways through compelling storytelling
- Stay current on advanced analytical techniques and implement as needed
- Develop and present opportunities to educate I&I and other colleagues on data management, visualization and insights.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Competencies/Skills:
- High proficiency in SQL. Experience in Python and/or R is a plus.
- Experience developing and automating reports leveraging BI Tools (Tableau preferred) while demonstrating best practices in data visualization
- Skilled in data cleansing and wrangling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate findings and key insights from I&I data and research
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholders with demonstrated project management skills; strong collaboration and teamwork
- Ability to work independently on high complexity projects with minimal supervision
