Description
The University of Montana, Pharmacy Practice, invites applications for a non- tenure- track Clinical Assistant Professor & CE Program Administrator to begin August, 2025.
The Assistant Clinical Faculty member will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and teaching pharmacy laboratory components as well as assist with the APhA immunization certification program of the first-year pharmacy students. This faculty member will also be responsible for the maintenance of laboratory facilities, equipment, and supplies. The service efforts for this position include leadership of the Pharmacy Continuing Education Program and maintenance of the accreditation status with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.

Position Details
Non- Tenurable Faculty: Pharmacy Practice
Title: Clinical Assistant Professor & CE Program Administrator
Schedule: Full time, academic year position (10 months)
Salary: $79,000- $84,000
Benefits: Medical Insurance/Mandatory Retirement Contribution/Professional Development/Partial Tuition Waiver/Wellness
Primary Duties: Primary duties include teaching, scholarship, and service.
Qualifications
- Possess a PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited institution
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Montana
- Experience in pharmacy practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong planning and decision-making skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Evidence of a collaborative style
Preferred Qualifications:
- Immunization certification
- Experience in education of pharmacy students or other health profession students
- Experience in teaching laboratory courses
- Experience in community or hospital pharmacy
