HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

The Parts Counter Sales Representative is responsible for overall support of company products and services, with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction. This position serves as a primary contact for dealers and customers. Interactions made in this capacity impact the financial health of the company in terms of overall ability to provide accurate and timely response of required information.

• This position is a liaison between inside sales, service, engineering, production, credit, and shipping personnel. Continuous effective communication is essential.
• Provide quotes, pricing, delivery, assist with inquiries and process orders for units in a timely manner.
• Discuss product specifications, options, and accessories with customers.
• As needed, makes periodic calls to customers to determine satisfaction with the company, products, or services.
• Determines the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
• Communicate information gained from the field to Engineering, Sales and Production to help minimize future warranty claims.
• Responsible for proper procedures in the sale and delivery of units and parts, including all associated paperwork.
• Contributes with the development and continued support of sales and marketing of units.
• Cross train with service parts sales as needed. An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service and phone communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn company operating systems.
• Accurate data entry and order processing skills.
• Strong attention to detail when entering sales orders, purchase orders, billing information, and shipping details.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities.
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service and parts environment.
