As a Senior Front end Software Developer at CaseWare, you’ll design, develop, test, and deploy front-end applications and microservices to support the Caseware Cloud Platform.  You will be a part of the Data Analytics department committed to delivering state-of-the-art data lifecycle management and analytic solutions that enable our global distributor network to develop and customize products that fit their market needs.  You will collaborate with multiple agile squads to build a platform capable of running thousands of concurrent import & analytic jobs in parallel with datasets ranging in size from MB’s to GB’s

What you will be doing:

• Take ownership over the design and implementation of solutions to the most complex areas of your team's codebase through all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends, implementing proof of concepts and presenting innovative ideas & architecture to contribute towards the development of our engineering culture
• Provide technical mentorship to other developers on the team through such practices as code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative solution design
• Represent the team in technical discussions with Team Leads, Product, Design, and all other external stakeholders
• Keep your team’s technical architecture documentation up to date and enforce development best practices to safeguard your codebase
• Drive operational excellence by identifying and eliminating persistent root causes for problems that affect your customers and team.
• Advocate the prioritization and reduction of technical debt of the system your team manages
• Collaborate closely with DevOps/DevSuccess to drive iterative improvements to your team’s build system, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 4 years of experience writing production-grade TypeScript/Angular, NgXS, RxJS
• Minimum 4 years experience working with NodeJS / REST API/ Micro-services (NestJS preferred)
• Willing to learn java (Java knowledge is a plus)
• Experience building complex solutions in the public cloud (AWS preferred) and overall knowledge with SaaS or PaaS
• Proven experience applying design patterns to solve technical problems
• Strong English language communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

• Understanding of Accounting, Auditing or Financial concepts
