Junior Securities Lending Middle Office Associate
Office Location: Dallas, TX
About the Team & Role:
Futu Clearing Inc. is looking for a Junior Securities Lending Middle Office Associate to provide vital support to the Securities Lending trade desk. This role offers a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team in managing a variety of daily operations critical to the smooth functioning of the securities lending business.
This role must be based at the office locations specified in the job description, in line with our in-office work philosophy. Remote work is not available for this position. For more details about our in-office approach and expectations, please reach out to the recruiter.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitoring DTCC settlement activity to ensure accurate settlement of stock loans and borrows, specifically in the matched book
- Managing securities lending matched book activity to ensure appropriate allocation of callbacks and returns
- Managing recall and buy-in activity in support of the matched book, as well as regulatory obligations
- Assisting with the counterparty onboarding process
- Collecting and delivering financial documents to and from counterparties for ongoing credit reviews
- Ad hoc reporting and data requests
- Maintaining relationships with vendors in support of the fluid needs of the securities lending desk
- Processing Buy-in activities
- Assisting with corporate action identification and adjustments
- Intra company loan and borrow bookings
- Daily contract comparison
- Monitoring and adjusting new contracts for accuracy and adjusting when necessary
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience post-graduation
- Strong accounting skills and financial acumen
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills
