Key job responsibilities
* Serve as the key business partner working directly with AWS senior management and other internal stakeholders to lead infrastructure planning and reporting and provide financial recommendations.
* Build financial models for new business concepts, make analytical judgments, and provide data intensive analyses to drive meaningful change.
* Present financial summary and business insights to the business and finance leadership.
* Develop and standardize financial reporting package.
* Build processes and controls as the business grows.
* Drive continuous improvements in profitability, free cash flow, and operational efficiency.

About the team
This role will work closely with finance management as well as key business partners across the AWS organization, including Product Managers, Engineers and GMs, to drive thoughtful analysis and controllership. This role requires a self-starter and independent individual with strong financial modeling abilities, problem solving skills, attention to details, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations.

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
- - Experience in the technology industry
- - P&L management and analysis experience
- - Strong business and finance partner experience; experienced in working with multiple stakeholders
- - Strong interpersonal skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
