The pay range for this position is $23.97 to $28.33 hourly depending on education and experience.

This position is located in Rutland, MA.  

The schedule for this position is Sunday-Wednesday 1pm-11pm.

$1,000 Sign-on Bonus.

 

For many years, Devereux Massachusetts has primarily served students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders in residential and group home settings. Devereux’s new Medically Complex Program is designed to serve youth with complex medical needs who require 24-hour nursing care, and are therefore not able to safely reside in a home setting. Many youth in this program, although they have many strengths and abilities, do present with sensory impairments, Intellectual Disabilities, physical impairments, self-care skill deficits, or conditions that require use of medical equipment. We use an interdisciplinary team approach to meet the unique needs of each youth and we provide them with enriching, fun, and diverse opportunities to grow and learn. Our goal is to help each child in our care reach their full potential.

 

As the Assistant Program Manager, you will:

  • Be passionate about working with and helping youth with complex medical needs
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and the Registered Nurse to ensure that youth’s medical needs are adequately met
  • Responsible for working with the Program Director to create a program vision and positive working environment
  • Assist with the planning and implementing recreational, social, and educational programs
  • Ensure that all youth’s medical appointments are attended and medical follow is implemented as indicated by the medical providers
  • Responsible for supervision and training of staff

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in human service field preferred
  • Previous experience working with individuals with psychological, emotional, intellectual, and/or medical conditions is required. One year of relevant experience in a supervisory role preferred
  • Ability to complete 2 weeks orientation training, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, in Rutland
