Overview
LMI is seeking an Senior Project Manager to support efforts for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Candidate will have experience supporting government project management efforts that include strategy, policy, and data analytics. Experience with crisis and disaster management efforts at local, federal and/or international levels is a plus. This position requires the ability to pass a government background investigation to obtain DHS Suitability.

Responsibilities
- Drive day to day management and oversight or projects across dynamic, fast paced organization
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to drive results for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) strategy, policy, performance and governance efforts.
- Support project team engagement and development
Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Master’s degree and PMP Certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects that involve the successful management of geographically dispersed multi-functional teams.
- Ability to pass a DHS background investigation.
Desired:
- Experience delivering strategic planning and execution, data analytics, and project management capabilities in a complex and dynamic program environment.
- Experience with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or disaster / crisis management organization at local, federal, or international level
