Minimum Qualifications
Working toward a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, information systems management, finance, or another related field
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality/work with confidential information
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of compliance and risk management
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain working relationships
Prior internship or work experience in audit, compliance, information security, project management, or risk management
Familiarity with governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) software/tools (e.g. ServiceNow IRM, RSA Archer, or AuditBoard)
Job Summary
The Enterprise Issue Management Intern will assist the team in providing oversight, reporting, and streamlining of the Enterprise Issue Management process including identifying, analyzing, and tracking issues that arise across various teams and functions within the organization.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document issues, incidents or problems affecting the organization's operations, products, or services and determine impact and urgency
Investigate issues to determine their root causes, working closely with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
Maintain accurate records of identified issues and actions taken for resolution
Create issue summaries, reports, updates, and incident documentation to facilitate communication and decision-making within the organization
Foster collaboration and communication between teams to develop and facilitate issue resolution and implement action plans
Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to issue management
