Job Description
IHI Power Service Corp. (IPSC) has a career opportunity for a Maintenance Technician at the Rainer plant in Moses Lake, WA. Hourly range for the position is $43.00 - $47.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the routine mechanical maintenance and repair of all equipment in the plant overseeing our jet fuel production and decarbonization processes, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performing preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial plant equipment as well as experience with utilizing computerized maintenance management systems to plan, track and capture historical maintenance activities.

Job Functions
• Perform plant preventive maintenance as assigned in a precise and accurate manner; collect trend data on equipment as directed by the Operations & Maintenance Manager.
• Service and maintain plant equipment in accordance with vendor recommendations and plant-established procedures.
• Maintain accurate monthly plant oil and grease inventory; monitor waste oil storage and oily rags, make arrangements for pickup as required with appropriate paperwork; labeling.
• Operate plant equipment including trucks, overhead cranes, forklifts and associated tooling safely.
• Following the inventory management procedure, utilize spare parts from plant inventory to promptly repair equipment.
• Monitor spare parts and tool inventories and reorder as necessary. Make recommendations to improve the spare parts on hand in order to optimize plant reliability.
• Assist in the equipment spare parts inventory semi-annually or as directed by the Plant Manager.
• Be familiar with plant manuals, systems descriptions, operating procedures and emergency response plans and be able to access them when needed.
• Respond immediately to plant casualties or operating emergencies.
• Off-load plant chemicals, oils, and other deliveries adhering to all plant safety guidelines. Add and document receipt of materials to plant inventory.
• Perform troubleshooting and testing of plant mechanical equipment and adjust/correct within skill capabilities.
• Monitor assigned equipment and adjust/correct within skill capabilities. Clean assigned equipment and ensure they are oil, dust and debris free.
• Inspect, assemble, disassemble, repair and adjust all types of plant mechanical equipment, including heat exchangers, pumps and fans.
• Assemble, install and repair tubing, piping, valves, fittings, and thermal insulation subjected to both high and low temperatures and pressures; align and balance rotating equipment when needed.
• Insure proper “Lock-out/Tag-out” procedures and other safety procedures are followed.
• Participate in the administrative maintenance of the plant manuals, technical references, prints and diagrams and preventive/predictive maintenance records.
• Maintain complete equipment files, logs and drawings for all designated equipment. Perform plant housekeeping functions as directed.

Education and Experience – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
• High school diploma or GED; Military or related relevant work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in operations or maintenance within the energy, aviation, industrial maintenance, or fuel production sectors.
• Experience with decarbonization technologies, synthetic fuels, or chemical processing is highly preferred.
• Experience with rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Technical certifications (e.g., OSHA, NCCER, or HAZWOPER) are a plus.
