Predictive Modeling Associate

Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for an Modeler for a hybrid position (2-3 days of telecommuting). Must be commutable distance to Quantico, VA.

What you'll do:

• Model systems in support of USMC Chief Systems Architect.
• Develop guidance for use of DoDAF Architecture to support JCIDS, ISP, and MBSE efforts.
• Lead and engage in information/data management projects including the Enterprise Architecture, information models and flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality standards and processes. Develop application modeling languages/techniques (e.g., Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), entity relationship modeling, Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM2), and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)) including the ability to create and read the associated diagrams.
• Creation of data dictionaries, defining metadata management approaches and governance processes.
• Experience in developing and implementing IT architecture plans, Enterprise Information Architecture standard and guidelines, software development methodologies and strategic plans.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• Education: 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
• Clearance: Secret Security Clearance required
• Familiarity with system modeling tools and modeling languages, particularly the Cameo application and SysML.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience with data Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience in Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Network Architecture development.
• UML/SYSML/UPDM/UAF Knowledge
• Marine Corps experience or knowledge

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
