Your Role:
At EMD Electronics, as the Customer Data Project Manager, you will manage data sharing and analytics projects with our Electronics customers and interact directly with all relevant stakeholders. You will serve as the interface to and work directly with our internal customer-related counterparts of the Electronics business to differentiate our offering with Digital Solutions.
In this role, you will prepare and participate in discussions with internal stakeholders and customers, collect feedback on technical topics from a data analytics and semiconductor perspective, and iterate on this feedback to ultimately solve problems that improve our manufacturing and materials. This will require you to understand engineering, data analytics, and chemistry to act as a translator and driver.
In addition, you will put yourself in the shoes of our customers to ensure that our solutions are optimally aligned with their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Customer and strategic projects: Work on strategic digitalization projects in customer data sharing and analytics space
- Project management: Enable effective and efficient project execution on various use cases, mostly directly interacting with our data scientists and also domain experts from the business
- Change Management and Adoption: Evangelize digital solutions as part of the Electronics’ offering to differentiate ourselves to the customer and generate the ground for profit-generating collaborations. This includes providing presentations, educational sessions, and other formats supporting business stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of our value proposition
- Collaboration: Collaborate and build close relationships with the relevant counterparts in the business units’ operations teams, ultimately becoming a key trusted partner for digital topics
- Domain expertise: Apply and extend domain expertise in the customer space to deliver effective solutions that serve high-value problem statements for our business and customers
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechnical, Industrial, Chemical, etc. )
- 5+ years industry experience in directly relevant industries (e.g., chemicals manufacturing, semiconductors)
- 1+ years hands-on project management experience
- First experience in data analytics, statistics, or business analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or further advanced degree in engineering, science, or a related field
- Proven track record in managing complex technological projects in mixed environments including technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Expertise about leading-edge semiconductor device manufacturers
- Ability to quickly build an understand of our Electronics customers’ needs and engineering problems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across diverse teams, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment
