Cybersecurity Architect Engineer Job Description:
We are looking to hire a Cybersecurity Architect in the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) Technical Operations organization. Currently, we have several roles in Cyber Security Engineering for forward-thinking and energetic individuals. Be part of the key Cyber engineering team that is building new security architectures across a large and critical DoD system of systems. Provide Cyber engineering expertise, while understanding architectural needs and finding cyber solutions that can fit that need. The best candidate is Cyber hands-on engineer who can liaison, meet, recommend, help create the needed system design and engineering.
Cybersecurity Architect Engineer Required Skills:
· Experience with software design and development
· Experience assessing cybersecurity risks on software
· Experience with Linux systems
· Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
· Basic knowledge networking exposure with ability to understand packet captures.
Cybersecurity Architect Engineer Highly Desirable Skills:
· Cloud experience such as Kubernetes and containers.
· Software development in C or C++ in a Linux/Unix environment.
· Network experience in system development.
· Experience with network packet captures.
· Interest in becoming a cloud focused Cyber engineer.
· Experience in a team environment.
Cybersecurity Architect Engineer Additional Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
· Proactive/self-starter. Task driven with ability to work independently.
· Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships that fosters team success.
Job: Full-Time Employee, 40 hours/week
