About the role

Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution located in Plymouth, Wisconsin, wishes to hire and build a pool of adjunct instructors for open and future part-time teaching assignments and invites applicants from a diverse group for these positions.

We are currently looking for a qualified adjunct instructor to teach Music Education: Music Teaching Techniques for Elementary and Middle School for the Fall, 2025 term and beyond. The class will be taught online this fall.

A competitive stipend is offered. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant field, Wisconsin K-12 Art teaching license and relevant K-12 teaching experience.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Music Education.
  • Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.
  • Administer and/or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.
  • Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
  • Use university technology as directed.
