Position Overview

CNC Operator & Programmer

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machines based on engineering drawings and specifications
• Utilize CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to generate tool paths for machining operations
• Ensure production of quality parts

Key Responsibilities

 

• Technical Proficiency: Ability to develop & optimize CNC programs for various machines based on engineering drawings and specifications, while utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software.
• Mechanical Proficiency: Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and selecting appropriate tooling.
• Attention to Detail & Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to design specifications along with inspecting product geometry using various measuring tools.
• Safety and Cleanliness Standards: Commitment to safety and production requirements while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

 

Qualifications

• Previous CNC & programming experience preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiar with CNC mills and lathes.
• Solidworks & Mach3 CAD/CAM software experience a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience working with tight tolerance parts.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and can work independently with minimal guidance, as well as in a team setting.
