Role Description:
The Head of B2B Merchant Acquisition is responsible for steering ShipBob’s B2B sales organization to deliver revenue growth across new and existing merchants. This person is a strategic business leader, partnering across functions and motivating a team of Account Executives to deliver commercial strategies that unlock new revenue growth opportunities and expand existing merchants’ business with ShipBob.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with the VP of B2B to set the vision and develop the commercial strategy for the B2B business.
- Redefine and own the go-to-market plan and processes to drive growth and support ShipBob’s vision and strategy for B2B.
- Develop team and individual quotas and commercial strategies to support B2B growth objectives.
- Guide, manage, and motivate a team of B2B Account Executives.
- Partner with B2B Account Executives to manage sales pipeline, develop repeatable sales cycle activities, and monitor performance vs. goals.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations and Marketing to develop relevant sales collateral, case studies, and evolve offerings to support and accelerate selling activities.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Experience selling 3PL, Retail Distribution/Dropship, and EDI based services.
- Knowledge of merchant’s purchasing and decision-making processes.
- Experience in using and maintaining CRM, forecasting, and sales cycles management.
- Change management skills; experience developing and implementing new teams,
- processes, policies, or tools.
- Excellent analytical skills & business acumen with a good understanding of the key financial drivers and dynamics related to supply chain costs and impact on a merchant’s business.
