Data Analyst

Description

Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support Surface Combat Systems' Training Command (SCSTC) as a Data Analyst. Services to be provided consist of Systems Engineering and Training Analysis services in support of the following areas: Manpower and Personnel, Infrastructure, Functional Integration Management (FIM), Training Management, Documentation, Training Systems Acquisition and Lifecycle, and International Programs (IP). Support will also be provided to the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force, Spanish, South Korea, Norwegian, Australian, Singapore Foreign Military Sales and future IP Initiatives.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Perform data analysis, submission, tracking, follow-up, and required documentation utilizing applicable systems, programs, applications and software. Specific advanced experience in Microsoft products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Summarizes and disseminates, as appropriate, results of reviews, analyses and evaluations of current procedures and processes
• Collect and analyze all available related material and data to identify and make recommendations concerning problems/issues and prevention of problems/issues
• Collaborate with Mission Area Chairs (MAC) in determining annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM) requirements, as well as attending the Spring and Fall Surface Warfare Training Committee (SWTC) events

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Six (6) or more years experience in the US Navy
• Three (3) or more years experience and detailed technical knowledge of the U.S. Surface Combatant platform and associated warfighter characteristics and capabilities for those platforms; specifically to include Cruiser and Destroyer configurations in use by deployed fleets
• An in-depth understanding of the interrelationship between U.S. Surface Combatant configurations, fleet readiness requirements, and land based test sites including training commands
• An in-depth understanding of the deployment cycle
