Job Description
The Production Associate is an individual contributor responsible for owning end to end order management process for multiple brand channels inclusive of uploading and maintenance of purchase orders, issue resolution in conjunction with cross functional teams, on order reporting and delivery tracking. Engages with supervisor and with time in role, different levels of leadership on production status, issue resolution and liability/dispute management. Manages day to day with some interaction from supervisor but is able to prioritize/organize autonomously after fully on boarded into role.
- Initiate PO creation and resolution as needed
- Responsible and accountable for accuracy of on order, monitoring weekly reports from Vendors with delivery updates, executing PO changes
- Facilitate pulling ad-hoc reporting and analysis of on order, delivery updates, and communication to cross functional teams
- Determine potential risks and escalate as necessary.
- Support data and reporting for communication on prioritization of product, delivery delays and potential risks from the Vendors to the Merchandising, Merchandise Planning and Inventory & Allocation teams
- Working directly with vendors to effect changes to PO schedules to ensure that forecast and required delivery timing is met.
- Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, Merchandise Planning, and Inventory & Deployment teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of experience is required within Product Development, Sourcing and/or Manufacturing; preferably within the apparel retail organization.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google/Google docs & ERP platforms: Full Circle and Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
- Able to organize, research, analyze and integrate large amounts of information accurately and quickly.
- Aptitude for systems and systematic work including BI reporting.
- Must possess strong knowledge of global apparel production and logistics.
Additional Information
Pay: from $60,000 - $70,000
