The Role at a Glance
As the MoneyGuard Associate Wholesaler, you will be responsible for proactively promoting sales of Lincoln Financial Group’s products to financial advisors in the Specialty Life Partners (Allstate & HGI) channel through wholesale and point of sale efforts
What you'll be doing
- Builds and maintains strong business relationships with key sales clients to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, targets or objectives for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure the proper processing of all sold products from time of sale to issuance.
- Conducts site visits to assigned firms/institutions to achieve sales targets.
- Cultivates, manages, and maintains firm/institution client relationships within assigned territory.
- Develops and executes plans to select appropriate key partners to promote Lincoln's products/services and optimize sales effectiveness.
- Develops and executes sales plans to increase sales revenue and market share within assigned firms/institutions.
- Develops and maintains a strong understanding of LFG's products, services and operational structure to enhance ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve sales objectives
- Develops business on behalf of the Lincoln Financial Group (LFG) in a manner that supports a positive company image, in compliance with all required rules and regulations and ethical in all considerations.
- Identifies and communicates any potential conflicts regarding Lincoln's products/services
- Identifies and recommends to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Increases penetration in territory by optimizing and growing relationships within existing firms/institutions. Partners with fellow wholesalers to achieve sales objectives.
- Increases/gains awareness of Lincoln's products and services with firms and/or institutions within assigned territory.
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Maintains sales call data in appropriate systems and/or complete sales reports.
- Meets or exceeds all department and/or sales goals/targets for his/her assigned territory.
- Provides presentations, information, education, training, and advice on company's products and services to assigned firms/institutions.
- Provides sales support tools, sales and marketing ideas on Lincoln's products/offerings to assigned firms/institutions.
- Serves as a resource to internal/external stakeholders for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Utilizes expense budgets to set limits and maximize sales opportunities within assigned territory. Collaborates with internal stakeholders on proposals and/or distribution of relevant marketing materials.
- Adhere to LFDs Culture of Compliance. Comply with LFDs policies and procedures.
What we’re looking for
Must-Haves
- 3-5 years’ external sales experience in the financial services industry that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities
- FINRA Series SIE, 6, 63, L&H
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Analytical skills and close attention to detail is necessary to determine proper processing of investment documents
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Skill in writing grammatically correct routine business correspondence such as brief transmittal memoranda
- Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment
