Services Tech (SST) provides integrated cash management, working capital and trade finance solutions to multinational corporations, financial institutions, and public sector organizations around the globe. TWCS Technology is part of the TTS technology organization and is embarking on global transformation. We are seeking solution architect(s) to create innovative solutions and lead architecture transformation for TWCS business.

The candidate requires a strong knowledge and experience in developing architecture vision, strategy, and end to end solutions for complex business problems. The role will have a global focus in the TWCS Technology space and requires the individual to work across a variety of stakeholders such as product, operation, and risk.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to develop architecture vision and strategic architecture solutions that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards and future industry demand.
• Architect large scale target state trade and working capital systems end to end, and with hands on expertise in leading design using domain driven design (DDD), API, modern patterns, microservices, event driven & cloud native technology.
• Provide leadership to strengthen architecture review process, continuous maturity of architecture practices, architecture community of practices and tech debt management.
• Interfaces across several channels, acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining direction for future projects.
• Create solution architecture artifact that are consistent with architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices with a goal of resilient and scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Provides thought leadership in subjects that are key to the business and lead portfolio simplification strategies to rationalize application landscape.
• Own the definition and execution of shift left architecture governance process.
• Interfaces with vendors to assess their technology and to guide their product roadmap based on Citi requirements.
• Lead design sessions with engineers and stakeholders to create innovative solutions.
• Conduct POC & POA on potential solutions with a failure fast mindset to drive target state.
• Design common business functions and capabilities within the TWCS ecosystem to simplify technology footprint and faster time to market.
• Own and drive solution evaluation and build vs buy/partner analysis.
• Communicate technology vision, strategies and solution across communities and cross functional teams.
• Provide expert knowledge of architecture and serve as SME to cross functional teams.
• Provide architectural leadership and conduct assessment to adopt cyber, risk and control patterns and solutions.
• Active learner of technological innovations, trade industry trends and competitor landscape.
• Be an adviser to engineering organization to adopt modern engineering practices such as continuous architecture, inner sourcing, code management, devops and SRE.
• Acts as an advisor and mentor to team members to grow solution architecture skills.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience and expertise in developing architecture vision and strategic solutions.
• 8+ years experience with modernizing and migrating applications to strategic architecture.
• 5+ years experience and expertise in modern languages (e.g. Java), messaging, integration and data streaming technologies (e,g, Kafka, MQ etc..), caching & database (RDBMS and NoSQL) tools, application development framework (e.g. Spring boot, .NET), well architected framework, data integration solutions, software architecture patterns, and tools
• 5+ years experience and expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Ability to create solutions at conceptual, logical, and physical levels.
• Expertise in building solutions with domain driven design (DDD), API, microservices, event-driven architecture and cloud native principles
• Experience in architecting Gen AI, LLM and ML based solutions.
• Awareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate.
• Experience in collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Passion to innovate with open-source mindset to improve products.
• Experience with technology control framework, compliance, regulatory and audits.
• Consistently demonstrate concise written and verbal communication
• Cloud certification (AWS, Google, Azure) is a plus.
