Job Summary

Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a Full-Time, Onsite Campus Registered Dietitian to join our dining team at UNC Charlotte in Charlotte, NC! 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Implements and supports health and wellness programs such as tabling events, Teaching Kitchens, health fairs, guest speaker events and other on-campus programming.
• Collaborates with disability services department and dining management team to ensure appropriate accommodations for students and guests with medical dietary needs.
• Conducts regular food allergen training for dining associates to support safe dining experiences.
• Oversees grab-and-go food labeling and menu signage to ensure compliance with local and federal regulatory guidelines.
• Partners with marketing manager to develop and share engaging nutrition messaging on social media.
• Plans and facilitates cooking classes through Campus Recreation’s Demo Kitchen program.
• Supports dining operations by regular conducting food allergy trainings for staff; works with leadership to uphold food allergy safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable
• Good working knowledge of food allergies and dietary restrictions strongly preferred
• ServSafe(R) Manager certified a plus
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
