Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

<p><span>The Senior Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities and resources to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prearranged time frames and within funding parameters.  The incumbent is responsible for managing medium to large-sized project teams that deliver measurable business results by monitoring project activities, ensuring the quality and integrity of the information, and providing consistency in content and “look and feel” across the enterprise. The Senior Project Manager facilitates the resource management process by tracking resource skills, committed effort, actual effort, and administering the resource scheduling system. Being part of Regional organization require the ability to understand the complexity of each market solutions and navigate across the processes, considering each market similarities and exceptions, in order to manage complex and multi-cultural projects. </span></p> <p><span><strong>Project Management</strong> </span></p> <ul> <li><span>Manage medium to large-sized complex multi-market business process or Business cases development projects within assigned areas from inception to successful implementation: </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>define project objectives, scope, and level of effort </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>establish work plan for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>develop project strategies and plans, and identify the methods and tools required for the project </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>prepare project status reports for management, business unit leaders,  </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>monitor progress against plan </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Communicate any project issues including timing, budget, resources, scope and more, to the Program Manager </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Review project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Utilize BI (Business Intelligence) tools to analyze resource metrics (actual and planned) and provide visibility of resource utilization and/or availability to management </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Collaborate closely with the Process Excellence/BPM team  </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle. </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Integrate Change Management plans to the Project Plan </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Adhere to best project management practices and methodologies such as PMI (Professional Management Institute) standards or similar. </span></li> </ul> <p><span> </span></p> <p><span><strong><u>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong> </span></p> <ul> <li><span>Project based employees with assignments to be managed. </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills  </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills  </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Strong change management skills and ability to influence decision makers </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment  </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Strong project management skills which includes experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors  </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives  </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Expertise in MS Project  </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Language:  English, German </span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><strong><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</u>: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Bachelor’s degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>At least 7 years of Project Management experience,  </span></
