Senior Infrastructure Engineer

<p><span>The Role<br/><br/>This role involves managing and delivering technology and services. It encompasses a range of IT projects fro</span><span>m strategic planning to technical support, with elements of both architecture and hands-on infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be an experienced 3rd-level Infrastructure engineer with a strong technical background, capable of designing and implementing solutions, resolving high-level incidents, and troubleshooting backend infrastructure. This requires knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, vitalisation, and security.<br/><br/>Responsibilities include:<br/>• Lead solution design and scoping for infrastructure, technology, and services.<br/>• Ensure service availability, incorporating it into both planning and daily operations.<br/>• Manage vulnerability and patch management, and make decisions on incoming IT work.<br/>• Review and vet all project-related infrastructure, software, and service needs.<br/>• Maintain current infrastructure knowledge while staying abreast of future trends.<br/>• Develop plans to streamline and increase the efficiency of infrastructure systems.<br/>• Standardise infrastructure and services, providing architectural direction.<br/>• Manage risks to the business that could lead to outages or revenue loss</span></p><p></p><p>Skills</p><p></p><p><span>To apply for this role you will be a 3rd line infrastructure engineer with exposure to VMWare, Veeam and linux.
