External Channels Program Manager, External Channel Ops & Program

Amazon is looking for a motivated individual for the profile of Sr. Program Manager to manage Pickup and Seller Network Programs as part of External Fulfilment Operations team. The Program Manager will lead over-all cost and Speed Projects to drive efficiency, reduce defects, and enhance the overall seller and customer experience. Reporting to head of EF/ES/3P Operations, this role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of short-term and long-term initiatives to address the key opportunities. This is a critical role that will have a significant impact on the efficiency and reliability of over-all seller network. This role will require the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, startup environment, partnering with others as needed, and the ability to exercise sound judgment solving novel problems without clear direction from leadership. Ideate and structure ambiguous problem statements into actionable next steps<br/>2. Drive operational efficiency improvements by collaborating with various cross functional teams<br/>3. Use working backwards principles to manage end to end launch process<br/>4. Manage Daily/weekly performance, build mechanisms to detect and drive down defects and work on continuous improvements.<br/>5. Work with the product team to develop long term capabilities to build net new capabilities to improve speed, reduce cost and implement packaging/labelling improvement initiatives.<br/>6. Influence to drive exceptional results, including formulating standard operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement and implementing solutions.<br/><br/>This role will require exceptional communication and influencing skills, and will work to influence stakeholders across customers, Business, Operations, and Product teams.<br/><br/>About the team<br/>The team manages External fulfilment channels for Amazon India. The team is responsible for performance, cost, quality and speed metrics. The team is structured regionally as well has a central team of Program Managers who drive critical initiatives.
