As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will serve as the resident HR expert for our global organization. We are seeking an independent, skilled HR professional with at least 5 years of experience in human resources function and strong familiarity with US employment laws and regulations. Bonus points if you have experience working in a global organization - we have team members in the US, UK, the Philippines, Australia and Singapore. This role reports to the US Human Resources Manager. Our ideal candidate will have prior demonstrable experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment balancing people and business strategy and execution.

 

What you'll do

This position will serve as the employee facing expert for a variety of HR matters and will have the opportunity to grow personally and professionally as we rapidly scale multiple business units. 

This is a rare opportunity to provide HR support across multiple companies, meaning the scope of work is always changing and evolving and no two days will ever be the same.

  • Optimize and maintain HR processes and procedures alongside existing HR and recruiting team 
  • Support recruiting team through onboarding of new hires 
  • Boost employee morale and productivity via recognition programs, training and development, performance management, etc
  • Assist with weekly and semi-monthly payroll runs and administration
  • Assist in the administration of 401k, dental/vision, medical, and additional employee benefits
  • Address employment-related questions, issues, and matters that could warrant participation in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by recommending best practices and reviewing policies and practices to ensure compliance
  • Utilize existing HRIS reports to compile, analyze and interpret data to inform critical business metrics and decisions related to: hiring, attrition, engagement, etc.
  • Assist with the implementation of global programs like the mentorship program and company-wide training programs
  • Be up to date on new trends, best practices, and changes within HR and employment law 
  • Support activities that create an inclusive environment (DEI&B)

Who you are

  • 5+ years of HR experience with 2+ years at a senior professional HR level with broad based experience administering policies, programs and projects that span the employment lifecycle (i.e., compliance, talent acquisition, compensation, pay/benefits, performance, professional development and employee relations)
  • Direct responsibility for monitoring and ensuring compliance with employment-related laws and regulations across multiple states
  • Experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment
  • Global mindset with the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems. Adept with workflow management, reporting and analytics with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendation.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
