Description

The Clinical/Substance Use Disorder Program Supervisor is responsible for clinically supervising clinical therapists (employee and contractor), outpatient clinicians, and case managers. This position is responsible for clinically supervising the intensive outpatient program (IOP) as well as the partial hospitalization program (PHP) for substance use and mental health. This position works independently and demonstrates solid leadership and clinical skills. This role will provide clinical support to outpatient clinicians, clinical therapists, office managers, and direct care staff.

Responsibilities

  • Business Operations: fulfills assigned responsibilities related to the Entrepreneurial Operating System.
  • Provides and documents at least bi-weekly clinical supervision to therapists, case managers, and other providers.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of staff orientation and staff development programs. 
  • Ensures employee staffing and scheduling are coordinated to provide appropriate staff coverage.
  • Completes all necessary administrative documents promptly as scheduled. 
  • Knowledgeably administers the clinical aspects of the Griffith Centers, according to standards of quality.
  • Ensures appropriate practices as outlined by local, state, and federal regulations and best practice standards.  
  • Assists in the development, review, and update of policies, procedures, and forms related to compliance standards.   
  • Ensures all department staff have access to necessary policies and procedures, organizational charts, crisis plans, and other relevant documents and materials essential to their job function. 
  • Ensures that providers stay in compliance with their respective client-facing hours requirements.  
  • Supports with data analysis, and report development. 
  • Available for crisis situations and provides support/consult to clinicians and staff, as necessary.  
  • Works directly with Psychiatry, Nursing, and Director of Business Development on program development, curriculum development, staffing, client engagement, program development, and all aspects of the program. 
  • Facilitates and documents individual supervision by actively listening, providing constructive feedback, and articulating expectations and goals.  
  • Ensures supervisees understand feedback and are open to addressing any questions or concerns. 
  • Emergency phone line coverage 60 days per calendar year.
