We are currently seeing an experienced candidate for the Role of Delivery Manager, Engineering and Automation
The Delivery Manager will provide positive leadership, manage and develop a group of staff members always making decisions based on The Verista mission, vision, and values. The Delivery Manager role has a combination of internal (Service Line) and external (Account Management) responsibilities and reports to a Service Line Director to develop and ensure quality execution of engineering services business opportunities. These individuals set an example of company cultureof hard work, positive attitude, commitment to satisfy the customer, and strong interpersonal skills.
This position will support the leadership of our site in McPherson, KS.
Requirements
Typical Internal service line responsibilities include:
- Management of a team of up to eight validation engineers of varying levels.
- Attending leadership meetings, providing accurate status updates on the team and projects..
- Managing the development review process for the assigned team.
- Supporting the development of organizational strategy.
External requirements include:
- Sales of services to existing (house) clients, and identification of leads.
- Generation of proposals for new and/or expanded work
- Tracking existing project status and funding.
- Providing project metrics and managing KPIs according to required account management reporting.
- Performing internal quality reviews.
- Mitigating project concerns.
- Providing technical expertise to members of the team.
Qualified candidates will possess a BS Degree of the equivalent.
3-10+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience
