Job Overview:
We are looking to hire a Data Engineer within our Technology organization. This position will be a key part of the development team, to support and build data models for Enterprise level integration projects.
Responsibilities:
Operate in Agile environment to build and deploy automated processes that populate a graph database used as part of the organizations metadata repo.
Work with analyst, end customers, and other technical resources to generate solutions from graph datasets
Design, develop, test and implement data pipelines based existing Informatica PowerCenter and SQL Server technologies.
Review existing pipelines for opportunities to tune, optimize and harden
Provide leadership to teammates through technical design, code reviews and implementation of best practices, adhering to LPL’s SDLC and RM processes.
Collaborate with other Development teams, Enterprise Architecture and Support teams to design, develop, test and maintain the various platforms and the integration with other systems.
Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support

Requirements:
Experience in design and development of ETL using Snowflake Suite of Tools
Experience in developing scripts in a relational database i.e. SQL Server (TSQL and Stored Procedures) or Oracle using SQL/PLSQL
Experience in performance tuning (Snowflake DBT/Stored Procs)
Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience rolling out workflows through GitHub
Core Competencies:
Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile - Scrum experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Python
Snowflake Certification
AWS Glue, Airflow, Lambda
