About the role
Position Title: Analyst, Corporate Sales
Position Summary:
The Corporate Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting Sales Managers and the account management of corporations and travel agencies contracting travel with JetBlue. The Analyst proactively collaborates with Sales Managers and crewmembers supporting the operations of the Sales Team including contract management, marketing efforts, data analysis, and other team initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as a core Sales Team crewmember, focusing on the contract management process and supporting sales efforts
- Support field Sales Managers in the efforts to drive incremental revenue in Corporate business-to-business (B2B) business travel
- Assist in the development of the trade communication and advertising plans. Provide project and team support including drafting and delivering communications, and responding to crewmember and Corporate customer inquiries
- Develop and prepare reports for sales negotiations and performance reviews
- Ensure contracts are implemented in a timely manner and follow operation workflows through the Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) platform
- Manage timelines and lead projects supporting various sales and marketing initiatives and events
- Plan, facilitate and execute the trade communication and advertising plans for B2B sales
- Monitor and track effectiveness of trade communication
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Business Analytics; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- One (1) year of Sales and/or Marketing experience
- Motivated to develop negotiation, presentation, and planning skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Highly motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Travel Industry experience in Corporate or Agency Sales
- Knowledge of the airline/travel industry and trends
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated with positive self-image
- Strong public speaking skills
- Experience with Salesforce and Sabre PRISM
- Experience with Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker
Crewmember Expectations:
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
