Registered Dietitian Team Lead

Registered Dietitian Team Lead Job Responsibilities:

• The Dietitian Registered Team Lead provides safe and therapeutic nutritional care in a comprehensive and systematic manner. 
• Acts as a resource to physicians, nurses and other allied professional healthcare team members to provide patients with optimum nutritional care. 
• Ensures that improvements in practice settings occur by assuming responsibility for self-development and the development of staff in lifelong learning. 
• Provides direction and guidance for others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor. 
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum if licensed before 1/1/2024; Dietitians registered after 1/1/2024 must hold a Master's Degree and accredited Dietetic Internship.
• Experience: 3 years’ experience in an acute care setting with recent hospital experience-OR previous clinical nutrition practice experience with a minimum of 5 years, which includes working with a multidisciplinary health care team
• Certification:
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) required upon start 
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required within 3 Months of hire
