Warehouse Material Handler I

Responsibilities:

Includes but not limited to:

1.    Adherence to all cGMP, operating, and safety procedures
2.    Practice and support 5S initiatives in warehouse
3.    Safely practice all forklift operating skills
4.    Safely handle and transport product throughout the warehouse and when loading/unloading trucks
5.    Prepare shipment in accordance with customer specifications
6.    Transport pallets/deliveries to warehouse locations
7.    Locate pallets/raw materials to their designated positions in preparation for VIM and/or Manual Sorting conversion
8.    Relocate items to and from off-site warehouses
9.    Provide timely feedback to management personnel relative to issues, quality/safety concerns, and/or procedural deficiencies impacting the warehouse or the material movement process
10.    Other tasks as requested by the management staff

 

Qualifications/Education/Specialized Skills:

1.    Ability to maneuver and operate a forklift safely
2.    Commercial driver’s license preferred
3.    Ability to follow both written and verbal directions
4.    High school diploma or GED
5.    Forklift Certification
6.    Turret or standing lift experience a plus
