About the Role:
eSkillz is looking for a Project Manager to enhance our Professional Services team. In this role, you will…
- Manage Talent and Learning Development initiatives and related projects. You will collaborate with other members throughout the project lifecycle to define and manage scope, lead execution, monitor and control projects, and ensure timely and quality delivery. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, track project progress, communicate project status and updates to key stakeholders, manage project resources, and drive efficiency for execution. You will also help in managing client contracts, project budgets, burn rate, and other project KPIs. The role is a virtual home position with occasional travel to onsite meetings at client location.
What you'll do:
- Provide project management and consulting services to clients leading large Talent and Learning Development implementation projects and programs.
- Document project requirements and scope, define project deliverables, develop and maintain project schedules, track project progress, communicate project status and updates to key stakeholders, manage project resources, and drive efficiency for execution.
- Analyze, document, and propose potential process improvements to current internal processes.
- Assess prospective and existing clients’ Learning & Development needs; propose solutions to meet those requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for projects and client accounts.
- Track project financials, including budget, burn rate, forecast.
- Manage projects through all phases of projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the team to problem solve and offer recommendations to present back to the client for consideration and execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules (delivered in Gantt chart format if requested). Facilitate meetings and collaboration on deliverables across multiple cross-org resources and team members.
- Identify risks and define and execute mitigation solutions.
- Provide clients with business process consulting in the areas of Human Capital Management.
What we're looking for:
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead Project Manager in Talent and Learning Development software implementations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing project schedules, scope, resources, communication, and documentation.
- At least 2 years of experience working with the Federal and/or State Government clients.
- Strong presentation, communication, documentation, organization and consulting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Project.
- Excellent ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to plan and work flexibly to ensure deadlines are met and any unexpected interruptions are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with the team inside and outside the organization.
- Eligible and willing to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Occasional quarterly travel. is required.
Bonus points if you have:
- Have at least 1 year of experience as a consultant or PM in a consulting/professional services company.
- Have knowledge of Talent Management Systems, ideally Cornerstone.
- Have a Project Management certification.
