Job Description

B&B Roadway and Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for an Administrative Support Specialist in our Russellville, AL location. 

 

What you will be doing:

 

This position will support and assist purchasing and planning departments with job duties and tasks as assigned. Must be self-motivated but also willing and able to work with others.

 

Job Duties & Requirements:

 

• Must demonstrate core values: Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, and Trust.
• Ensure all responsibilities are completed daily.
• Update resource needs and spreadsheets as applicable.
• Backfill critical roles in planning/purchasing during absences.
• Attend Operations daily scheduling meeting.
• Assist planner with scheduling activities as needed.
• Assist buyer with purchase orders as needed.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery as needed.
• Update ERP system with information as assigned.
• Work cross-functionally with all departments when needed.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

 

The skills and experience you need:

• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain/scheduling/procurement preferred.
• Self-starting problem solver with opportunities for growth.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Must have ability to multitask.
• Independent, proactive, team player.
• Attention to detail: ability to meticulously review data and documentation to ensure accuracy.
