Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Configuration Management Process Specialist. to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO or Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Possess familiarity with ITMS, ITIL and SAFe concepts, practices, and procedures within the configuration management field.
- Work in a team environment helping to identify and implement efficiencies in the continued modernization of configuration and change management processes.
- Participate in the migration from Remedy to Service Now developing and implementing process and quality control best practices.
- Provide lifecycle management of change and configuration items across multiple programs.
- Support and facilitate change control processes and ceremonies.
- Maintain change control databases providing status accounting of engineering changes to IPTs and program management.
- Compile reports of change activities throughout project life cycle to verify compliance with established change management procedures and standards; and to verify that CIs and system performance and functionality are compliant with specifications.
- Produce reports on software releases, results from functional testing, and various change management metrics.
- Plan and/or facilitate internal/external change deployment planning.
- Acts as a liaison between the development and operations teams to communicate changes and expected issues in production environments.
- Work with management staff to produce change management strategies and plans for upcoming enhancements and/or rollouts.
- Assist with creating meeting agendas and tracking of meeting minutes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Configuration and change Management ITSM Tools like the EWM JAZZ Tool Suite and Remedy.
- Knowledge of configuration and change management best practices
- Ability to verify that change documentation is compliant with applicable requirements.
- The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel

Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Certification:
- None
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline with 3 or more years related professional experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft SharePoint
- ITIL v3 Foundations Certification and Experience
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification and Experience
- Experience with IBM Engineering Workflow Management Tool (EWM)
- Experience with BMC Remedy
- Experience with Service Now
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Active DOD Secret clearance and ability to obtain agency suitability clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain stationary up to 75% of the time in an office environment.
- Must be able to traverse between one work location to another to accomplish work duties.
- Must be able to operate IT equipment such as a computer, copier, fax machine, etc.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management and co-workers to exchange information accurately.
- Must be able to read, review and effectively respond to electronic as well as verbal communications.
- This position supports an IT operations environment. Candidates may need to support work on nights and weekends and may be included in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Currently, the contract work location requirement is to work in the office at the customer’s site once weekly at a minimum. This is subject to change
The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300-$108,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
