SAP S/4HANA Project Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager with expertise in Selective Data Transfer (SDT)/SNP Bluefield Migration and transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using the SAP Activate Methodology. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all phases of the migration project, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan for the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using Selective Data Transfer/SNP Bluefield Migration methodology.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Establish project governance structure, roles/responsibilities, and communication protocols to ensure effective project management.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including SAP consultants, technical experts, and business stakeholders.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
Selective Data Transfer/SNP Bluefield Migration:
- Oversee all aspects of the migration process, including data extraction, transformation, and loading using Selective Data Transfer/SNP Bluefield Migration tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize downtime and disruptions during the migration.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT management, and project sponsors.
- Provide regular updates, progress reports, and presentations to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and risks.
- Proactively address stakeholder concerns and expectations, ensuring alignment and buy-in throughout the migration process.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Implement quality assurance processes and controls to ensure the successful delivery of the migration project within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of project activities to monitor progress and address any deviations from the project plan.
Change Management and Training:
- Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate user adoption of SAP S/4HANA and minimize resistance to change.
- Plan and coordinate training programs and knowledge transfer sessions to educate end-users on the new system and processes.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to end-users during the transition period to ensure a smooth migration experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield, Selective Data Transfer/Bluefield implementations and migrations.
- Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA migration projects, particularly using Selective Data Transfer/SNP Bluefield Migration methodologies.
- Experience leading onshore and offshore SAP functional and technical teams
- Strong understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA modules, architecture, and migration tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- SAP Activate Methodology Certification is a plus.
- Experience with change management, stakeholder engagement, and risk management methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.
