Overview

HealthPro Pediatrics has an exciting opportunity available for a Therapy Aid/Facilitator within Hillsbourough Private Schools, FL!

 

  • Coordinate Therapy Schedule with Virtual Speech Language Pathologist
  • Escort children to and from virtual session to computers to help with logins and manage behavior and attention for session
  • Setting up technology and trouble shooting
  • Facilitate communication with teachers regarding scheduling
  • Clerical duties of filing IEP Paperwork in Cumulative Files and Speech work folders. Training will be provided.
  • Part Time (15-20 hours a week)
  • $20 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Excellent position for a SLPA student or recent graduate 
  • Coordinate Therapy Schedule with Virtual Speech Language Pathologist
  • Escort children to and from virtual session to computers to help with logins and manage behavior and attention for session
  • Setting up technology and trouble shooting
  • Facilitate communication with teachers regarding scheduling
  • Clerical duties of filing IEP Paperwork in Cumulative Files and Speech work folders. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Preferred but not requiredEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of speech language pathology assistant with an Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Experience: One year experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant preferred.
  • Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills
