JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Using basic knowledge of project management fundamentals, the incumbent individually leads relatively small projects of low to medium complexity supporting Company and customer requirements. Additional functions and duties involve: Assist Project and/or /Program Managers with the daily conduct of large project/program activities involving Project tasks including:
- Make priority determinations
- Develop, review, and approve project documentation
- Maintain established project portfolio
- Establish, execute and report on project budget
- Manage project risk
- Monitor/control and re-plan project
- Provide project status through project/program reviews
- Annotate lessons learned and archive project data
- Administer Work Management System (WMS) activities through the use of identified scheduling tools
- Follow company and Government processes and procedures as required maintaining accountability and responsibility for project schedule, budget, and requirements to deliver projects on time meeting required budget
- May be required to recruit and hire appropriate technical personnel to ensure the accomplishment of project requirements
- Use established policies, procedures, and subject matter knowledge to complete assignments of medium complexity that vary in nature and sequence
- Performs other related Project assignments as requested.
RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION
The candidate should have a background in AF Weapons, AMMO, or USN/USMC Aviation Ordnance; previous experience in developmental/operational test environment is a plus. Should be familiar with aircraft stores, including Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM), Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM), AIM-9X Sidewinder, and next-gen network enabled weapons.The candidate will be responsible for tracking inventory of materiel and components in the Air Force's Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS); familiarity with CAS/TICMS/AWIS or similar tracking system is desired.
The candidate will be required to set up, operate, and tear-down various test equipment, including assisting vendor personnel with the operation and use of the Common Munitions BIT Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE+). Will inspect loaded stores and perform in-seat munitions built-in tests (BIT) and telemetry checkouts. Some degree of manual labor will be involved, including the installation of telemetry kits, the application of target decals, and the metrological survey of weapons in support of static ejection and safe separation testing. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills desired.
Will be required to operate/drive Government Vehicles and other ground support equipment on the flightline and in the shop/hangar. Receiving and maintaining a flightline driving certification is requirement. This position requires flexible work hours and the ability to work occasional swing shift operations to support dynamic flightline operations.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Must have a bachelor's or higher degree, or any combination of formal education, training and experience equivalent to eight years involvement in technically demanding program or project assignments. Must have demonstrated knowledge and skills in resource organization and allocation, planning and budgeting, configuration management, continuous quality and process improvement, setting and measurement of program goals, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Incumbent must have a valid, current state driver's license. Must have and maintain a current Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $94,203 to $98,280 annually.
