The Automotive Team Lead Technician serves as the primary point of contact for Customer Experience Specialists. In this role, you will answer customer questions related to remote vehicle diagnostics, providing expert advice and technical solutions via telephone and support equipment. You will also communicate with shop representatives to determine appropriate testing and analysis methods, review repair estimates, and ensure that customer concerns are addressed effectively.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm

Additional Key Job Responsibilities:
Collaborates with the Regional Manager to optimize technician efficiency.
Serves as a communication link between technicians and customers.
Manages and prioritizes the workflow of tasks.
Conducts diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and analysis.
Performs wiring repairs and advises the shop on necessary repairs.
Maintains shop equipment and vehicles, and performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Maintains stock inventory, verifies orders, and communicates supply needs.
Prepares, prints, and sends service invoices, collects signatures or payments, and ensures delivery to the office.
Customer
Builds and maintains relationships with customers professionally.
Ensures adherence to company standards for service vehicles.
Follows through with any other assigned duties.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Knowledge of Original Equipment (OE) scan tools
Ability to learn new tools as needed
Knowledge and skills to execute quality wire harness repairs
Ability to service automotive Air Conditioning (A/C) systems
Possesses advanced automotive diagnostic skills
Computer knowledge including email, spreadsheets, and messaging systems
Willing and able to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, and the like
Must possess a high school degree or GED equivalent
Minimum of 4+ years related service technician experience required
