Job Description:

The LSU Paralegal Studies Certificate Program is looking for a teaching assistant to assist the instructor for Civil Litigation I beginning in the Spring 2025 semester. The course is scheduled to take place Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. The Spring 2025 semester begins January 27, 2025 and will end May 8, 2025. The candidate must be a working paralegal who has at least five years' teaching experience.

Job Responsibilities
Assist the Civil Litigation I instructor with instructing students, including but not limited to, conduct live online class sessions, administer and grade assignments and exams, respond to students' inquiries on class lecture materials, assignments, and exams. 100%

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of teaching experience

Degree Substitute: Paralegal Studies Certificate

Specific Experience: Currently employed as a paralegal

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree
