KFR Swiss Production Team Lead 

 

Swiss Production Team Lead position is crucial to our goals of quality production, customer satisfaction, empowered employees, and continuous improvement. Status: Hourly Non-Exempt 

Position Type: Full-time 

Hours: 40 hours on average  

Schedule: M-F 

 

Reports to: Production Manager 

Key Roles 

• Help Supervisor oversee Swiss Production processes
• Help Supervisor oversee personnel of the Swiss Production Shop
• Know the priority of production by collaboration with the supervisor
• Prioritize continuous improvement and standardized process mindset 
• Maintain shop with the help of the team
• Ensure quality of products leaving the shop
• Update Huddle Board

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Work closely with supervisor to develop and maintain procedures for daily work that emphasize quality production and employee purpose
• Develop and maintain respectful relationships with other teams and departments
• Work as a team member within the larger company
• Be a leader in the Swiss Production Shop by aligning with the vision and goals of the company and the department accordingly
• Provide necessary progress updates
• Trouble-shoot machines on floor as needed
• Daily Production Shop work
• Perform QC of parts and adjusting to bring into spec
• Train and develop new employees
• Run morning huddles
• Respond to purchasing & E-Maint tickets
• Maintain inventory control of raw and finished parts
• Coordinate with other team leads on labor sharing
• Complete LSW

• Machining knowledge and or experience
