The Office of Employee Relations (OER) provides leadership and support to other state agencies through the coordination of variety of different programs and services including oversight of the Kentucky Employee Assistance Program (KEAP), that provides a confidential resources to state government employees to assist them with personal and work-related concerns.
KEAP is seeking a KEAP Program Administrator who will manage staff and serve as the administrator of the employee assistance program by providing direct assistance to both employees and supervisors throughout the Commonwealth. The selected candidate will provide daily supervision of branch employees who ensure implementation of the program.

Essential responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and provide KEAP services to state employees and dependents on a statewide basis in connection with HR resource guidelines.
- Provide assessment, referral follow-up, crisis intervention, and psychological services.
- Provide consultations for supervisors.
- Manage and coordinate the development and implementation of new initiatives.
- Represent and promote KEAP services at agency functions and trainings.
- Identify target groups and service need populations.
- Assist employee groups with crisis and grief responses when appropriate and requested.
- Supervise branch staff including approving timesheets, leave requests, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Strong written and communication skills
- Attention to detail and analytical skills are essential
- Possess a high level of integrity and personal accountability

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Must have six years of experience as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate, Certified Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist Practitioner, or its equivalent as determined by the Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):
Must be licensed as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate, Certified Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist Practitioner, or be permitted to practice psychology on a temporary basis by the Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology. Persons who have been granted temporary permission to practice psychology by the Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology may not serve as the supervisor of record for certified psychologists, licensed psychological practitioners, psychological associates or licensed psychologists. Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification. Employing agency is responsible for ensuring employee possesses and maintains required licensure(s), certification(s) or other credentials.
