IT Project Analyst

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT project analyst to support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the IT department. This role will assist the project manager by analyzing data, managing Jira project boards, monitoring project progress, and ensuring alignment between stakeholders. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and eager to work on diverse IT projects and initiatives from infrastructure upgrades to software implementations, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Collaborate with the IT department teams to create and maintain detailed project boards in Jira
• Track and report on project progress, scope and budget
• Analyze project data and provide actionable insights and opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure tasks are completed as scheduled
• Support stakeholder communication by preparing updates, dashboards, and status reports
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

COMPETENCIES:

• Highly proficient in Jira project management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with project management methodologies
• Understanding of Enterprise IT systems is a plus (ERP, CRM, or cloud platforms)
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects/priorities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years of relevant project management/analyst experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Experience in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
