About the role

Job Description

We are looking for you, if you have:

  • relevant experience and proven track record in HR IT systems in an international context, including project management experience,
  • knowledge of HR global applications; specially Workday (foundation process) and Data Lake environments is highly desired,
  • ability to steer within a complex international environment and organisational structures, being capable of driving delivery by influencing others, coordinating countries and applying Agile methodology,
  • excellent English communication skills and ability to craft recommendations into the business language of the relevant stakeholders,
  • the ability to speak confidently on technical subjects and system functional and non-functional configuration, managing a large and complex stakeholder map,
  • a high degree of personal motivation, resilience and the ability to work in a high pressure environment,
  • results Orientation as evidenced by a track record of delivering solutions which routinely exceed the business process expectations,
  • strategic Orientation: ability to understand the business context in which the system solutions are being developed and designed to ensure alignment with relevant overall strategic, data management and IT strategies,
  • collaboration and Influencing: demonstrate ability to build meaningful relationships in a large and complex enterprise across functions, levels and geographic borders.

You'll get extra points for:

  • good understanding of change management principles, business process outsourcing operations, performance indicators and relevant HR experience are a plus,
  • tertiary education, preferably at Masters level,
  • at least 5 years of relevant working experience.

Your responsibilities:

  • manage demand from countries and drive change management process for Global HR systems (Workday, Learning apps, Data Lake etc), in order to maximise business value,
  • collate and conduct initial analysis of change requests, ingestion requirements and ETL jobs  according to defined processes; conducting interviews to support the diagnosis of underlying issues,
  • provide a high quality input to the Product Owners to be able to process the change requests in an efficient and effective way,
  • prepare and write change requests in such a way that it covers the requirements of the country, and is well understood by the Product Owner and implementation teams,
  • engage with the countries to get to a forward looking view (at least 6 months ahead) on the change demand, moving away from ad hoc change requests,
  • making sure countries stay in line with Global standards as much as possible, only deviating on the basis of legal or regulatory requirements,
  • identify improvements to products or services that best meet user requirements, using personal expertise to propose improvements on integrations and process configuration,
  • participate in Governance boards where needed (e.g. Design Authority; Change Control Board) to facilitate decision making on changes and priority setting,
  • ensure stakeholder alignment on user acceptance and advice the Asset Owner on change acceptance.

Information about the team:

Functionally you will be part of Global HR within ING working with different countries and stakeholders consolidated into one common system - Workday. Hierarchically you will be working for the Corporate Solutions Area in Poland.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Feature Engineer III”.
